More about the charity

2.4 billion people have little or no access to a toilet and this is a global problem that is one of the least publicised (after all, who likes talking about toilets?) and yet sanitation can changes lives forever. That's why we always put it first.

We have created a sanitation system designed to help solve this crisis in rural and urban areas, and we are implementing this in India.

We all know how important clean water is, but without effective sanitation it can only take us so far. Why dig wells if the water is polluted with raw sewage becasue no-one has a toilet?

Diarrhoea kills 2,195 children every day – more than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and measles combined. (WASH).

Lack of sanitation spreads illness and disease; children under five are especially vulnerable, malnourished and weakened by poverty.

The World Health Organisation estimates 90% of children who currently die annually from the effects of diarrhoea could be saved through prevention or better treatment.

Our vision is a world where everyone has access to clean, safe sanitation.

Poverty will not be tackled without sanitation. Diseases will continue to spread, and many young people, girls in particular, will suffer from a lack of education, safety, and dignity.

So please support our campaign, have some fun for a good...
