Chearsley Village Hall

The Chearsley Village Hall Committee is delighted to report that work on our new hall started in July and is progressing well.

We have managed to raise 99% of the funding needed for the project, however building costs have been higher than anticipated and donations are still very welcome to help us buy vital equipment for the hall when it is completed i.e. new chairs and  tables, a new stage and new blinds for the windows.

All donations large or small will be recognised in our Giving Tree which will be permanently placed inside the front entrance of the new hall (we will be in separate contact with all donors about this).

More about our campaign

Chearsley is a small, rural village in north Buckinghamshire with around 550 residents. Officially opened in 1951 our old village hall was situated in a central location within the village and was widely used.

The hall was knocked down in July this year and building work has commenced.  A brand new hall will be ready in March 2018 and will be able to provide many more activities and events for all members of the community particularly the elderly and teenagers.
