Chearsley Village Hall

The Chearsley Village Hall Committee is delighted to report that the new hall has opened for business!  Landscaping and external works are still being carried out and these will be finished by our opening ceremony on Saturday 12 May.

Unfortunately building costs have been higher than anticipated and donations are still very welcome to help us buy vital equipment for the hall i.e. new chairs and  tables, a new stage and new blinds for the windows.

All donations large or small will be recognised in our Giving Tree which will be permanently placed inside the front entrance of the new hall (we will be in separate contact with all donors about this).

More about our campaign

Chearsley is a small, rural village in north Buckinghamshire with around 550 residents. Officially opened in 1951 our old village hall was situated in a central location within the village and was widely used.

The old hall was knocked down in July 2017 and the new hall opened in April 2018 which is already providing many more activities and events for all members of the community particularly the elderly and teenagers.
