The Theatre Shed
Congratulations are in order, as The Theatre Shed is celebrating its 10 year anniversary!
To commemorate the occasion, they are holding a fantastic show called ‘Lifted’ on Easter weekend in Chesham. It’s a story celebrating a decade of wonder and imagination as The Theatre Shed goes into its next chapter, proving anything really is possible.
The Theatre Shed is a fantastic charity – bringing together able-bodied children and children with disabilities to create inclusive and inspiring theatre. The Theatre Shed helps these children learn and gain confidence, as well as putting on events and bringing their worlds to life. They pride themselves on never turning anyone away and making sure that everyone is welcome at their door.
However due to the current economic climate, The Theatre Shed is in real financial difficulty at the moment. Chairman of the Board, George Jeffrey, comments ‘Despite reluctantly cutting our costs, we will have to close our doors for the last time this July, unless we can raise £20,000 between now and then. If you can contribute anything to keep this wonderful community charity going, then please visit our fundraising page and give what you can.’
Why not visit The Theatre Shed’s fundraising page to find out more & help keep this great charity going for another 10 years…
