Star Fundraisers in December & January
Sorry all, we missed a month over Christmas and with all the exciting growth going on here at Make a Donation. We thought we would inspire you with some great stories from our fundraisers over the last couple of months together as it is important that these great fundraisers are recognised for their efforts.
Every month we’ll award the superstar fundraiser title to one team and they’ll be on the shortlist for an extra £1,000 donation to their charity at our 2016 MaD Awards. Get ready to be inspired…
Alan Low (December Star Fundraiser)
Alan decided to run the Dallas Marathon -and kept his thinking of keeping it local chose to raise money for Lynch Syndrome UK (no pressure was applied to do it for charity). Well not only did he raise a fantastic £468 (£368 more than he expected) but he also managed a time of 5:07:46 s a pretty good effort allround

Emma McLauchlan (January Star Fundraiser)
Emma is running the 2016 London Marathon for Clic Sargent. She has decided to take on this challenge after a huge amount of personal challenges and changes in her life. You can read her story and her motivation in full on the Fundraising Blog and her training is now well underway along with her fundraising effort. So wishing her luck not only in her challenge of completing the Marathon but also with raising money for Clic Sargent and supporting Cancer in the Young as a result.
