5 steps to increase your charity donation
Would you love to get your favourite charity an extra £1,000 donation from us? Well, it’s never been so easy – check out our 5 steps to increase your charity donation…
1. Start Fundraising
It’s very simple to set up your own fundraising page for your favourite charity at Make a Donation. And the best bit is that it’s completely free to do and (unlike other sites) we won’t charge your charity any fees whatsoever, so they’ll get every last penny of the money you raise. The more details you include on your fundraising page, the better and remember, you can upload both online & offline donations.
2. Spread the Word
To really increase your donations, you’ll need to spread the word about your fundraising challenge. This means posting it on Twitter, Facebook and emailing out your fundraising page to your family & friends. Plus, if you link it to one of our social media channels, we’re happy to share it with our community & followers. The more buzz you create about your event, the more donations you’ll get and the better chance you’ll have of winning that £1,000 donation.
3. Complete your Fundraising
The 3rd of our 5 steps to increase your charity donation is a simple one – finish your fundraising. We wish you the best of luck in completing your fundraising challenge – whatever it may be! Once you’ve done it, make sure all your donations are uploaded onto your fundraising page and then you’re ready for the next step…
4. Nominate yourself
You can nominate yourself or a friend if you think you’ve done some star fundraising – all you need to do is send an email with a few details and a link to your fundraising page. Our star fundraisers have gone the extra mile to raise money for charity and every month we’ll pick one superstar fundraiser out of the selection.
5. Superstar Fundraiser
If you make it as one of our superstar fundraisers, you’ll be on the shortlist to get that extra £1,000 donation for your charity at our MaD Awards. It’s up to the public to decide who wins and voting will open in November. In the meantime, you can drum up support and make sure your friends & family vote for you when the Mad Awards voting opens.
If these 5 steps to increase your charity donation have inspired you and you want to win that £1,000 donation – why not start fundraising or nominate your friend as a star fundraiser?
